Annie Eastty

Annie Eastty was a member of the Men and Women’s Club, and it was in this context that Schreiner knew her. Eastty, “an unmarried, free-thinking schoolmistress from Bermondsey”, gave a paper to the Club in January 1886 on morality (Bland 2001: 22).
