Gladys Cawood
Sarah Gladys Cawood, who was born in 1872 and died in about 1949, was a daughter of Richard and Erilda Cawood, of the farm ‘Ganna Hoek’. Schreiner wrote a letter of introduction to Will Schreiner for Gladys Cawood, so as to facilitate her obtaining work as a driver at the front during the First World War.
