Willie Cawood
William Kidger Cawood (1866 - 1906), known as Willie, was a son of Richard and Erilda Cawood, on whose farm Ganna Hoek Schreiner frequently visited in the later 1870s. He later married Johanna Catharine Rossouw (1870 - 1906). There is just one Schreiner letter to Willie Clifford when younger; as this now exists only in a version produced by Cronwright-Schreiner, it is likely to contain inaccuracies as well as major omissions.
