Joey Fourie
Joey Fourie was a sister of Anna Purcell nee Fourie and she married a member of the Smuts family. From Schreiner’s letters, it seems that the Smuts in question was the manager of the Purcell’s country estate, Bergvliet Estate, Diep River.
