Bessie Findlay (nee Niemeyer)

Elizabeth Aletta (Bessie) Findlay nee Niemeyer was the wife of Schreiner’s nephew (John) Hudson Findlay. There are two extant letters from Schreiner to Bessie, both dealing mainly with family news. Her 1920 letter to Bessie suggests she kept in contact with Hudson and Bessie Findlay until the end of her life.
