Dear Laddie

Do let us know how soon you will be coming. I wouldn’t miss you for
anything & we will be going some time to Hanover to see to out packing
up &c. I would rather stay her ^till you’ve passed^ ^than miss you^

If we were in Hanover a cart could meet you but there would be a drive
of 9 miles (an hour & a half) which cut off from the few hours you
have to spend with us would leave hardly anything, unless you could
spend the night with us as well. I should like to have you with me at
the spot whether I have spent the 7 most terrible years of my life, &
the thought of which is one nightmare to me, lit up only by the
thought of the visit Sir William Butler paid me, & the Purcells’ &
Lawrences.

Let me hear from you dear, by note or wire.

^Good bye Olive^
