Dear Mrs Solly

I did not get your letter sent to the Royal, but have just got your
other note. If I am well enough I will try to come to the Alexandra
Club. I want much to see you & my husband will come too as he much
wants to see you.

If I possibly can I will go to the meeting in the afternoon. I can’t
get one of the women I know to join the little society. They all look
on it as a branch of the Loyal Ladie’s League – I suppose because
two out of the three officials belong to it!

We can talk over this when we meet.

Yours ever
Olive Schreiner
