Dear Fan
I went down yesterday at six, but they told me the train was late &
would not be in till 7.30. Cron & I went again at 7.30 but they said
it might not be in till 8.30 & Cron had to be at the "House" at eight.
So I went back. I hope you’ve both had just a splendid time. Thanks
so much for your letter. It was sweet of you to find time to write
when you had so much to see & do.
I am rather bad or I would come out today to hear all the news. I’ll
come when I’m better. If The weather is rather trying to me here
without a fire; but I’m holding on, I can’t bear to go away.
^Good bye dear. ^
Love to you
