My darling old Sister,

Am feeling anxious about you, fearing oh such much it may be a kind of
asthma that is troubling you. Those warm days with north west wind are
deadly for asthmatic people. My asthma & of course with it my heart
have been better since the wind changed yesterday night. I thought I
should have had to leave this morning, but I am better & going to try
& stay on while parliament lasts, but may have to go any day. I’ll
try & come out & see you on some cool damp morning when the wind
isn’t north!!
