My dear Fan I am sending you my skirt. Please as soon as she has taken
the exact pattern get it back that it may not be about the work room;

Dear if you are going into Cape Town, don’t go on purpose, buy me a
pair of black gloves no 6 ½ soft kid & a yard of crepe that I can
trim my hat. I hate mourning but some how I feel she would have liked
me to wear black that day. Tell them to charge it with the serge &
lining & buttons to me. I would lave today but I am not feeling well
enough. If anything should prevent my coming I’ll wire you, dear.
