Dear Friend

Where are you? When are you coming? there are very nice people here
keeping the hotel here now, some nice simple Germans whom I knew at
Kimberly called Smit. You would be very comfortable if you came to the
hotel here, they would give you the best room & be so kind I know. It
is rather expensive that’s the only draw back.

Cron & I are perhaps going to take our meals there after the middle of
the month as I can’t go on without a servant.

All goes well with us, but I am longing so much for news of you. Do
write.
