The Project is grateful to Manuscripts and Archives, University of Cape Town, for kindly allowing us to transcribe this Olive Schreiner postcard, which is part of its Manuscripts and Archives Collections. The year has been derived from the postmark on this postcard, while the names of the addressees and the address it was sent to are on its front. Schreiner was resident in Hanover from September 1900 to October 1907, after 1902 with visits, sometimes fairly lengthy, elsewhere.

I hope you are both having a good Xmas day by the dear old sea or have
you gone back to Kenilworth. I feel so happy thinking how much better
off m I am than last Xmas when I was so very ill, & Cron was away & I
was quite alone. Every thing too is brighter now.
