Dear Fan

I guess you ^are^ very happy having your old man back again. How does he
seem? Did he enjoy his trip. I’ve not any news of any of you for so
long. How is Ursula’s face? Did Olly know his Dad. I leave tomorrow
morning for Cookhouse where old Mr Webber is to fetch me to Lily Kloof,
& I reach Grahamstown to Friday. Everyone is so good & kind & loving
to me to me here. They would quite spoil me if I were to stay here
long.

Good bye dear old sis.

be very nice to her when you meet her. She’s so lo out of health &
depressed, & she’s taken such a great fancy to you from the moment
she saw you.
