My dear Mary

I was so disappointed that you didn't come yesterday afternoon. I
expected you even in the morning as Fan said she had asked you to come
to spend the day & bring the children, if you were able. I am afraid
old Mrs Sauer must be very ill & you have had no time to think of
anything. I'll come on ?I'm Tuesday evening if I can: if not Cron is
sure to come. I get so tired still It was so nice to see you, dear.
I'm afraid you'll all feel I'm I'm dead & alive. I don't feel able to
take any interest in any thing. I'll be glad when I get back to my
house work; but I think the change is doing me good.
