My sweet old Mary

I send you a photograph of myself. I will send you one soon of Cron &
myself sat taken together. I never hear a word of news from anyone in
Cape Town now: but I hope you are all alive & well. I am very strong &
well, more really well that I have ever been since I was sixteen. I
never have asthma any more, & am very busy writing all the time. As
for my life with my husband it seems to grow more beautiful to me
every day: the hard thing is that death has to come & divide you some
day. I never hated death so much as I have the last few months. I
never felt like this to it before.

Write & tell me all about yourself.
