6 I am still worrying about that Dr Watkins matter; better not mention
7me at all & if you have already written to Mrs Watkins wait till you
8hear from her again, & then just say you think you would prefer to go
9to the hospital.

11 It's still so hot here, no rain. I went out onto the verandah just now
12to try & get a little breath of air, & found a little snake there
13which I ^Cron^ killed . The Doctor says I need not expect the baby
14before the 28th of April. Show Cron your girlies if he comes to see
15you. He is so fond of children. I think he will like Magda so much. Do
16you know when Ella Shippard is to be married? Have they returned yet?
17The nurse I've got now, Miss Cowan, is so sweet & gentle; I am sure I
18shall like her. Don't say anything about the Watkin's when you write
19to your sister.
