My darling I am longing to see you Some day you must come here. I know
a little stay here will rest you, & you & Cron will be great friends.
I am very busy getting my little house straight. It's very simple but
I know you wont mind that. It better than the cottage at Millthorpe!
I've been very busy all day putting up the curtains I've made at our
little windows. Tomorrow my husband & I are going to have "a day off,"
& as soon as breakfast is over & the goats counted out we are going
off for a whole day in the veld to climb a big mountain & lie in the
sun at the top. You must come & climb it too some day. The view is
finer than from the top of table mountain, & that's saying a great
deal. My general health is very good here, but I get asthma when the
sea wind blows; when ever that's over now for three months, & the air
here is heavenly. I'm so glad to think Jessie Innes is coming in
August.

The lovely chair you gave me in England stands by my desk with two
delightful cushions Mrs Tom Graham sent me in it; & Cron does sit in
it reading almost every night while I write! You said he might if he
was very good, & he is!!!
