Dear Mary,

You looked so tired some how. Darling I can't bear to think you are
ever tired or unhappy. Are you unwell at all. Are you going to have
another Baby perhaps? I should love it so if you had a little one. I
shall go on Monday night in the hope of seeing you. When is Miss
Shippard
coming to you? Effie Hemming is coming here ^to Cape Town^ on
Sunday, Mrs Hemming asked my sister-in-law to take her till she goes
to you. What time will that be? Write me a line if you can't on Monday
to Government House. I'm so I hope you understood my driving home with
the Fuller's. I thought it would save you & Mr Sauer the trouble.
Please come up here when ever you have time, & are in town.

Yours always unchangingly
Olive Schreiner
