My dear Mrs Sauer

Thank you for your letter. & for what you said very much. I would like
to come on Wednesday if that will quite suit you. By what train shall
I come?

I am so glad to see dear old Cape Town & dear old Table Mountain. My
little niece is sitting by me so I can't gather my ideas as she is
"sorting" my envelopes, as she calls it.

I have the kumquats from Mrs Logan for you. I will bring them when I
come.

Are you quite sure you are going to Bloemfontein because I don't think
I shall go if you are not. I shall know noone there but the Reitzes &
the Lochs & shall feel so lonely.
