Oh is it true Mary dear, that you are coming to Johannesburg next
month. I have heard so. Do let me know that I may have something to
look forward to. We have no spare room or I would want you & Mr Sauer
to come & stay with us: but do stay in Johannesburg for a little time.
I am so hungry to see you.

I began this note some days ago, but didn't get it finished. Some how
I write to no one any more.

It will be so splendid if you do really come.

Cron is getting on so well with his lawyer's work. He has such endless
determination & courage he would succeed with anything he undertook. I
believe he is too generous & straight-forward ever to make much money
as a lawyer, but that's all the better.
