4 I was do glad to get your letter ^card^ my darling, & also a letter from
5Mrs Innes telling me how well all had gone with you. What is Peter's
6name really to be? I fancy you will sit up to-day or tomorrow. Do you
7nurse Peter or are you going to bring him up by hand?

9 Tell Mr Sauer Peter is not only going to be another voter, but he's
10going to follow in the good path which his father followed in early
11youth but forsook!! he's going in for equal rights, franchise for
12women, & all other good things!!!

17 NB When Peters a little bigger you & he must come up & spend a week
18with me. I've got a lovely little trap now & a nice quiet little horse,
19 & we can go lots of drives. You must come to me because I can't go to
