My dear Sister
I fear I am a very bad correspondent but I have so much writing to do
that I hate to write a letter more than any one can understand. I am
still you at Matjesfontein & shall likely stay here for five or six
months more I find this dry cold suits my chest very much.
I hope you are all well. I wish I could see you all but fear I shall
have to put off my visit to Fraserburg till I go to away from
Matjesfontein. Ettie I hear is already settled at Worcester with
Roberts little ones. They seem to be getting on well as far as health
goes but poor ?Wynnie still suffers much from her eyes.
There is a Mr Norris staying here now who used to be at Fraserburg.
Excuse this short scrawl dear sister, & believe me with much love to
all your little sister
