231 The Park,
6Dear Mr Hodgson
8Thanks I should love to come on I am not sure (the posts are so
9irregular now) whether this letter will reach you tomorrow though I am
10posting it at once. If it doesnt & I go to Kensington I may find you
11gone already. But I’ll try to be there by 11 I can only travel by bus,
12& No, if you care to take the trouble come & meet me here, at 10. I
13will be ready. If you don’t turn up I’ll know you found it took
14too long to come. I am close to Golder’s Green station, but I
15can’t go in the under ground. I would of by the ^20^ bus to Kensington
16High Street; & there take the 33 to Richmond. I often go that way for
17a drive.
19This is how you get to me
20 [sketch of address]
23You get out at Golder’s Green station take the third turning on the
24left right going up the Great North End Road; then you come to a
25little street called Park Drive which turns into a street called The Park.
26 The first big house at the corner is Alexi. I shall be ready at 10.
27If you don’t come I shall know you thought it would take too long to
28come. I must not be later than 5. as I have to go & dine at my
29brothers at Cadogan Sq.
31I shall like very much to go if you can manage it. Thanks
