8I do hope she’s quite better. I have more & more faith in Glaxo; do
9try it if she does not really flourish.

11I want to ask you a favour My nephew & his wife & the nurse & baby
12have taken on a tiny cottage at the sea side for July – but they ve
13only got it till the 27th of July, & that leaves them with two weeks
14till the 12th of August with no where to go. We sail on the 13th of
15August. If you should know of any tiny cottage in these nice little
16villages near you or an which they could get or any small house where
17they could lodge, could you let me know? They don’t want to come
18back to London for the two weeks they hate it so. My niece’s sister
19who is going out to Africa with them may be wanting to come with them
20– but I think she can stay with friends. Don’t take any trouble
21about this, but it just struck me you as or John might know of such a
22place, & would be good enough to let me know. They don’t want a very
23expensive place, as her illness has cost so much, & settling down in
24Africa will cost too.

26Must I fear I can’t come & see you again I’m getting too ill to go
27about.
