Dear Mr Unwin,

Thanks for your letter. Mrs Schreiner asks me to say that “Peter
Halket” has not been sold to France, or any other country; nor have
any of the ^her^ works been sold to France or Germany. “Dreams” and
“The African Farm” have appeared in German, but none have been
translated into French that she knows of. She hopes you’ll be able
to conclude the proposed arrangement about “P. Halket”, and will
be glad if you can sell the rights of translation of any of her books
to any country. She has a cable from Sweden about “P. Halket”.

She will be glad With regard to the Dutch edition of “P. Halket”,
she will think the matter over and write to you later.

Yours very truly,
S.C. Cronwright-Schreiner
