Dear Mr Unwin,

Thanks for your note of yesterday.

Mrs Schreiner says will you please make terms with some German firm
about the translation on the lines you suggest: namely, selling the
rights & forwarding her the amount less your 10 p.c. commission. As to
the amount to be asked, she leaves that to you, only stipulating that
the payment shall be a cash one. She has done nothing at all in the
matter, not having been well enough. She has no other letters.

I saw Mr Batler, of Cradock, who promised to call & see you.

In haste
Yours very truly,
S.C. Cronwright Schreiner
