Dear Mr Unwin,

Thanks for your note of yesterday, ^to^ hand on my arrival here today.

With this I am returning the proofs, corrected. As you will have
gathered from my note of yesterday (and my wife’s P.S.), Mrs
Schreiner does not wish you to go to press until she has checked the
corrections which have been made on the proofs which you have sent us.
This is important. This final revision will not take long: I will
attend to it as soon as the complete set reaches me, & return them
quickly. When sending the whole for final revision, I should be glad
to have the various proof sheets (which I have corrected) to
facilitate the revision.

As soon as I hear from America, I will at once communicate with you,
as I mentioned last night.

I trust you were not kept waiting at Heneman’s: I caught a train &
got home nicely.

Yours very sincerely,
S.C. Cronwright Schreiner
