How is it that Roberts Brothers does not give me a farthing for
advanced sheets, they are paying me just the same percentage that some
other American firms are kindly giving me, because they don’t feel
it right to publish my book & give me nothing.

Did he give nothing for getting the proofs advance sheets! copy???

had a grand wedding. I was invited, but didn’t go of course I
