1My Havelock, I am better this morning with the thought of coming to
2Paris. I leave this by the train that starts at ^11.25 am on Friday^ &
3gets to Paris at 9.25 on Saturday, in the morning. Can you meet me at
4the station where the Marsails express arrives at that hour If so
5telegraph as soon as getting this the one word Paris. Don’t fail me
6if you can come. I will pay all your expenses (come & you can with
7full truth tell the girls you are going for a holiday to Paris & to
8see about the possibilities of your living there. In fact for yourself
9alone it will be a good thing to come but I am asking you selfishly.
10My Brother Theo & sister Ellie & four of my nephews & nieces are
11coming to in England the fo week after next & if I am in Paris I am
12sure Theo will come over to see me. Any how I wanted to go to Paris or
13England to meet them only I couldn’t afford it. Please wire the
14minute you get this. Wedne Thursday morning early.

16If it is too expensive to stay in Paris because of the exhibition I
17can go on to the Rhine where I meant to pass the summer I am going to
18tell everyone about my being in Paris because I want nothing secret.
19But I don’t want to see heaps of people, & you needn’t mention me
20unless anyone specially asks
