3I was too tired to stay at the concert. I left after I had been there
4five minutes. I was sorry for poor old Philip. He drove me back here,
5I am going to bed now. I am quite well you know only so tired. R I
6want to say good night to you before I have my bath. Oh thou, so much
7nearer to me than anyone I else.

13Roden Noel has written to say he is coming tomorrow afternoon, &
14Philip is coming, & Page. I wish you were here too then. I must get up
15early & work tomorrow You must work hard.

17Friday. Come at mid day. I if I could afford it I would go to Brighton
