9through this letter my friend Mr Rose-Innes who with his wife, also my
10dear friend, will be spending some weeks in London. Mr Innes is the
11Attorney General in the Cape Colony, one of our most broad &
12enlightened leading men. You will find conversation with him as
13delightful & interesting as I believe & am sure he will find talking
14with you. Any thing you can do to take him into the heart of things at
15home, or make his stay interesting will be more to me than were it
16done for myself. I hope talking with him may increase your wish to
17visit the Cape. ^We want you here.^
