My dear Mrs Wilson

I was so glad to get the good news that your little one had come
safely to you. I did hope for your sake it would have been a little
girl, but I know he will fill all your heart so there will soon be no
room for feeling sorry. I am so glad to hear he is strong & healthy.
It will be nice to see you about when I come back to Hanover; You have
had such a weary long wait.

I am having a very very happy time here. I will ill the first
fortnight but am much better now.

Please thank Dr Wilson for his note. I hope I shall hear further good
news of you & the little son.

Yours affectly
