Dear Mrs Solly

Mrs De Villiers is quite willing to join us as Vice Pres=. I have
found another splendid woman a Mrs Botha. Her husband was a magistrate.
They have returned & live at Rondebosch. She speaks English perfectly
of course is a very handsome noble ^looking^ woman of about 60. ^She has
always been strongly for woman ?franchise.^ Her great difficulty is
that she has so much to do in the church organizations & all the
Federation to which she belongs that she does not know if she can take
more on herself. She would be an invaluable woman to send to Worcester
&c if we were starting meetings there. I shall see her again at Mrs C
De Villiers
on Tuesday, & ask Mrs de Villiers to press her to join.
She is just the woman.

You ought to propose them at the committee meeting, I will second you
& so I’m sure will Mrs Edge & Mrs Griffith.

You will like both of them much.

Yours ever
Olive Schreiner
