I was so sorry I didn’t see you this morning. I had to go to see
Will off. His Doctor was there. I ask him if he thought Will better:
he said a little better than last week, as he couldn’t possibly have
travelled then. He had a whole side & plenty of cushions to lie down
all the way.

Please leave me a paper saying by what train – at what hour we start
for Islays on Tues-day.

I wish you were coming with me, but one can never speak of the war to
Alice. I don’t mind, as long as I have some human companionship. I
shall be back early on Monday morning.

I wish I could go to the meeting on Sunday, but you will be able to
tell me

^all about it.^

Much love Olive
