Dear Friend

I enclose the cheque for £261.0.0 I have sold the little house & sent
the money down to the Standard Bank. Please cash it at once. I will be
so happy to think you have it, dear one. It has been such a marvellous
help to me, but now I I’m quite able to return it, & may not be
later. And now the house is sold if I die I shall leave nothing.

I have been unfit for some days, but am getting back to my work to-day,
which is always so cheering.

Please tell me if Miss Greene has written to me since the 19th of
November, & whether you had written to me since the first day you went
to Kalk Bay. I have written to you both since I wrote on New-Years day
& also on Xmas day.

There was a very nice young missionary staying here at the Doctors who
said she would likely see you & Mrs Murray in Cape Town. She called to
see me with the Dr’s Wife.

Good bye, dear.
