Dear old man,
I got home at 12 to day. I found a nice letter from Ursula awaiting me
here. She writes so wisely about the suffragettes. She strongly
sympathizes with them, but feels so strongly she must do nothing to
interfere with her studies & that her first duty is to you.
Thank you for all your goodness to me, dear old man. As I grow older I
feel that the only real important thing in human life is love &
fellowship with those humans who by nature belong to us, & I seem to
cling more & more to those few who really belong to us & I seem to
belong more & more to those few who really belong to me.
I think as boy Oliver is not going in for that other exam = in
November, but takes it next year he really might come out. He whowever
has said nothing to me about coming out. Its fine about him last exam:
I’m just writing a note to the little mother.
Good bye, dear. The heat is very great here almost as great as in
summer but it will be over in another 10 days. Its so ?nice to the old
man, who is my children
^& all of them! The cat Boy-Boy has grown into an immense beautiful
creature. Ollie & Puppy were so glad to see me & Sancho Panza knows me ^
