3 Dear Mrs Murray,

5 I was out with the dear Purcells when you came. I think the going out
6has made my chest worse. I am in bed again & unreadable be returning
7to Matjesfontein in a couple of days so may not see you. I shall be so
8sorry. I seem to have pleurasy.
