6 Will you please send me the address ^name^ & numbers of your little
7stove in the kitchen. I want to order one, & yours though so small is
8the best baking oven in any stove I have ever worked with. Please let
9me know at once dear & if you have the name & number put them on the
10enclosed cards & send post. Please also let me know that I may send to
11Port Elizabeth if it if not to be had in Cape Town.

13 We have got the almost certain promise of a little house here. It will
14seem quite wonderful to have a separate bedroom & dining-room again.
15We are having glorious weather here masses of snow & ice, but very dry
16& stimulating. I am only dreading the damp when the snow on the
17mountains melts. The bank manager here, who is from England says he
18never saw such a fall of snow in all his life there. The boys had no
19end of snowballing here, & the snow men they made three days ago are
20still standing. My poor little meerkats were caught out in the great
21snow storm, but we got them after 36 hours. They must have crept into
22one of the old meerkat holes. Cron found them when he went to look for
23them sitting almost stupified on the frozen snow. We could not go to
24look for them the first day, the snow was too deep.
