1 Dear, Ol & I are off tomorrow to Mentone on the Riviera. He has been
2as you know he always is, the most lovely of travelling companion. I
3shall return to Florence in March or perhaps Feb to try Carlioni’s
4treatment for a little while. I am not drawn to the man, but there is
5no doubt he understands the condition of the lungs & has some
6remarkable appliances. I’m so sorry to hear from Ol that the fishing
7was not a great success at Mossel River. We are having the most
8abnormal weather too, snow & rain in Florence! I’ll write
