7 I wish I was at de Aar to welcome you to my little house. I expect it
8looks pretty dreary now, shut up all day. But it’s not so bad when

11 I hear you are to have a dance. I hope you will break no hearts: &
12above all leave de Aar heart free.

14 Tell Uncle Cron to show you my kitty cat Boy-Boy if you go up to the
15house. He’s a prince of cats. I slept at Eastcliffe last night on
16the verandah with Dot. Had a splendid night, but am back again at this
17hateful Hotel.
