I had hoped so to come & see you today but the great heat has
prostrated me. I will try to come next Tuesday I didn’t stay longer
on Friday as you already had a visitor, & I felt you must not be tired.
I hope you have not felt the heat too much to-day, but Tamboer’s
Kloof is always much cooler than down here. I enclose a letter which I
got from dear little Daisy Solomon. What a sterling little person she
is.

Good bye, dear one. How splendid it will be when once we know the
operation has been really successful. It goes to my heart to see your
dear hands, that have always been so busied in helping others so thin
& frail.
