My darling Betty

I have just had a wire from May, saying after all she was not able to
go down to see you. I am so sorry, I felt it would help you. Poor
Freddie is very helpless now, you know; he cannot get in or out of bed
without help May tells me. She says I would find a great change in him
since I saw him last. I am glad Mrs Molteno is going there on the 29th.

I hope you are keeping physically fit. Eat enough, dear, make yourself
eat & go out for walks.

Good bye dear one

I wonder if at last Churchill is soon going to go.

My darling Adela Smith now never leaves her bed. She is still at
Folkstone.
