I got a most interesting long letter from you dated 31st of July from
Hotel Adela. I agree with it entirely except about the new discovery
the only discovery ^secret^ is brains & determination. I had the
pleasantest evening I have known since I came to London. N van Heerden,
Bessie Reitzes friend who was over from Amsterdam asked me to have
dinner with her & two other charming girls at a little place in Soho &
we had a good time.
