Thank you for your card. Yes, that part of the Karroo is one of the
2loveliest spots on earth I would rather live there than anywhere in
3South Africa. Mr Merriman is coming to see me on Monday. I have at
4last found Ghandi’s address & have asked him to come & see me. This
5war is much worse than the Boer War. I’ll write when I’m able.
