Dear It seems I shall never hear from you again. Thank Alice for her
card – which told me nothing of your plans, however. I leave for
Florence the day after tomorrow. Address Poste Restante Florence, as I
shall likely be there till the end of April, when Alice Corthorn comes
to fetch me & we will go back via the Milan & Geneva to Paris & London.
I long to be in England among my friends again but I am very thankful
to be here & not in the ^African heat Olive.^
