6 From my long silence you’d never think how I joyed over your letter –
7though it had no good news of your coming to see me. Now our good
8weather is going over & the wind & heat are beginning.

10 Are you & Betty still thinking of going to live at Dube’s when your
11huts are finished? What of your loom? Is it in this country? Are you
12going to use it? I have a fear you’ll both just rush off to England
13again & I’ll not see you.

15 Give my love to our darling Lucy. She & the children are always a
16sweet picture in my mind. Has her sister come?

18 I am getting wonderfully better the last two weeks. The cough is gone.
19I never thought I should get as much better again as this. What of all
20the plans? Are they maturing? I can
