Legend
The Project is grateful to Manuscripts and Archives, University of Cape Town, for kindly allowing us to transcribe this Olive Schreiner letter, which is part of its Manuscripts and Archives Collections. A dating of November 1909 has been written on the letter in an unknown hand. However, the troubles in the WEL referred to in it suggests an earlier part of the year, thus the approximate dating given to it.
