Dear Mrs Molteno

It was quite lovely at your house to day. I wish I could ^really^ see
the children & get to know them as you only can if you have them to
your-self! How nice if you lived somewhere near & I could just run in
or go for walks with them. Your baby is quite perfect I think, just an
ideal of a baby. Is he Betty’s god-child? I must write & tell her
about him.

I’m so interested to meet Clifford Molteno. He has the same kind of
attraction for me that Betty had from the moment I saw her. I think
here’s ^he’s^ very like her. There is in both something that
suggests genius.

I have sent Mrs Murray part of Miss Greenes letter about the meetings,
& asked her to send it on to you. Please return it to me.

I asked your driver to put me down near my sister-in-laws & spent an
hour with my husbands’ dear old mother so I had just a lovely
afternoon.

Yours ever
