I am sorry the last books were kept so long: by a mistake they were
sent by parcel’s post, so took two weeks to come instead of two days.
Would you kindly send me the further volumes of Darwin’s Life, &
Gibbon’s Decline & Fall of the Roman Empire”. If you have it in small
vols please send me the two first: also the a novel One that Wins.
Darwin’s life, or the novel would be returned in a few days.
