This Christmas card has an ivy leaf on the front inscribed ‘To Wish You The Old Old Wish’. The printed message inside is ‘To wish you the old, old wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year’. Schreiner stayed in Matjesfontein between early October 1906 and early January 1907.
